Rodial Stem Cell Magic Gel

15 June, 2016 What’s New: Rodial Stem Cell Magic Gel

I’ve been raving about the Rodial Stem Cell Magic Gel* (£49) for a while, and I thought it was finally time to dedicate a post to its many benefits. Rodial sent me the Rodial Stem Cell Magic Gel about three weeks ago, and I’m bloody impressed. Dubbed the ‘SOS skin-fix’, this 10-in-1 cream claims to prime, hydrate, protect and plump.

Here are the full effects of the Stem Cell Magic Gel:
  1. Daytime and night-time hydration
  2. Plumpking moisture mask
  3. Makeup primer
  4. Skin smoother
  5. Intense moisture boost (a bit general, but I’ll take it
  6. Dewy glow-giver – works decently as a topical highlighter
  7. Skin re-energiser (again, super general)
  8. Pore-blurring technology
  9. Instant lifting effect
  10. Protective shield for daily stress

Packed with stem cell technology, this lightweight gel-cream instantly provides a dose of moisture to skin, without leaving it feel greasy or overly heavy. Since receiving it, I’ve loved how it’s made my skin look. It’s great for day or night-time hydration, and it seems to adapt to my skin’s mood, providing just enough glow to keep it feeling comfortable.

Another thing I love about the Stem Cell Magic Gel, is the hygienic pump. There’s no scooping or getting fingers involved – simply pump twice for an even dose, and apply to the skin. Having the pump means oxygen doesn’t get into the pot, which could potentially compromise the formula, and cause it to expire sooner.

In terms of its many benefits, it delivers on about 80% of them. I do think it adds glow, a huge amount of moisture that works perfectly for my skin, and the tightening and pore-blurring effects are definitely noticeable. However, I don’t think my skin looks particularly energised – it’s more of a subtle boost of moisture. That being said, makeup looks fab over it, and definitely seems to smooth over lumps and bumps a little easier.

If you’re after a multi-purpose moisture that feels super luxe and lovely, I absolutely recommend the Rodial Stem Cell Magic Gel*. It’s pricey, but offers a lot of bang for your buck, and I’m certain I’ll pick up a second tub when I get through this one.
