05 February, 2016 Face Mask Friday #22: TONYMOLY Sheet Masks
Happy Friday! Today, I’m bringing you my first #FaceMaskFriday post of the year – and it’s all about the gorgeous TONYMOLY I’m Real Sheet Masks.
Innovations in Asian skincare and makeup have completely changed the beauty game recently. Sheet masks, essences, cushion foundations and ombre lipglosses are becoming more and more popular, with a few new releases trickling into the U.S. and European markets. For me, the most exciting launch has to be the humble sheet mask. They’re affordable, contain a high dosage of moisture-rich serum, and great for travel too. The TONYMOLY I’m Real Sheet Masks are the best out of all the ones I’ve tried, and offer the cutest packaging options to boot. With variations ranging from Broccoli to Red Wine, there’s an option for every complexion.
I typically buy mine in a bulk-pack of 11 from Amazon, which comes to £9.97. At under a tenner, it’s possibly the most affordable way to pamper your skin on a regular basis. I’ve seen these on Cult Beauty for £6 a pop, which is kind of insane, but I can understand why they feel the need to price them so steeply.
Unlike the packaged face masks of my teenage years, the TONYMOLY I’m Real Sheet Masks offer serious skin-boosting benefits. They contain no parabens, talc, or artificial extracts, and the water-based serum sandwiched between the thin fibre layers of the mask, offer the perfect milky, light texture.
The serum sinks into the skin beautifully, and when you remove the mask, you can massage the residue into the skin for a mini facial massage. My favourite masks are Lemon (for brightening and detoxifying), Red Wine (for pore de-congestion), Rice (for balancing) and Avocado (for moisture and hydration).
If you’re on the hunt for a skincare treatment that won’t break the bank – and you plan on indulging weekly – then I think you’ll love the TONYMOLY I’m Real Sheet Masks. They’re great if you’re constantly chopping and changing your skincare regimen too!
