The Do-It-All Budget Blusher

20 October, 2014 The Do-It-All Budget Blusher

When I’m rushing out of the house and have just about managed to put concealer on and curl my eyelashes, the one product that will quickly perk up my complexion and leave me looking healthy and awake is the Rimmel Lasting Finish Soft Colour Blush in Santa Rose.

Rimmel 2

Rimmel 1

This is the perfect combination of peach and rosy tones, that has a slight golden shimmer in the pan that translates to the skin as more of a subtle glow. I usually apply this on the apples of my cheeks but if I don’t have time for bronzer or contour powder, this substitutes really well to add some dimension. Bobbi Brown have a gorgeous blush in their range called Nude Peach that is almost identical to Santa Rose, but Rimmel’s offering has more of a warmth to it that makes it so easy to wear.

At £3.99 the quality and lasting power of Santa Rose is incredible and compared to Nude Peach which retails for £19, offers excellent value for money.

You could wear this all-year round and it looks lovely with a tan, but for the current temperature in London and my perpetually dull skin this has been saving me on cold, miserable mornings!

You can buy Rimmel’s Santa Rose blush here. Let me know your thoughts on the blush in the comments below, and if you have any recommendations for me!

Happy Monday!
